About the Founder

Samarth Kasaraneni founded Every Student Succeeds at Math (ESSAM) in 2022 by combining his passion for mathematics and his genuine desire to help the underserved student population. ESSAM is a non-profit Math tutoring program with a vision to make additional math support reachable to as many Title 1 Elementary school students as possible. 

Samarth believes that every elementary child deserves access to a good grounding in foundational math concepts & problem-solving skills so these kids can confidently take on new challenges. Under the guidance of Dr. Harold Reiter (Distinguished Math Professor at UNCC), Samarth and his team of exceptional tutors at ESSAM provide high-quality and personalized tutoring via a small group setting. 

ESSAM offers online Math classes for free to interested students attending Title 1 schools from grades 3-5 throughout the week to supplement current math concepts taught at school. The curriculum is fully developed in-house by Samarth and his team aims to provide personalized tutoring for every student, enabling interested kids to achieve their full potential.
